The Dantas Lab works at the interface of microbial genomics, ecology, synthetic biology, and systems biology, to understand, harness, and engineer the biochemical processing potential of microbial communities.

We are part of the Center for Genome Sciences and Systems Biology, the Department of Pathology & Immunology, the Department of Biomedical Engineering, and the Department of Molecular Microbiology at Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine.
